Access to live data crucial for sourcing systems

Brokers rank access to live data as the most important factor for a successful sourcing system, reveals a survey from Mortgages for Business.

An online survey of 400 brokers found that 76% of respondents scored access to live data as the most important element of a sourcing tool.

Other high-ranking features include the ability to submit online applications and integration with lenders.

Nick Blunt, head of business partner development at Mortgages for Business, says: “The findings of this survey are important for Mortgages for Business. As we develop our existing sourcing tool into a portfolio management system we want to ensure that we are providing brokers with what they want.”
