Yorke to help develop NGM

Tony Yorke has joined the management team of Cardiff-based Next Generation Mortgages with a remit to expand the work of the organisation&#39s marketing and new business teams.

Yorke, 38, joins NGM as director of marketing and business development on July 1 from Axis, the financial services public relations company he co-founded. Prior to establishing Axis he was part of the management team that launched igroup into the UK&#39s specialist lending market.

He intends to implement a marketing and advertising strategy to position the company as a leading provider of financial solutions to mortgage intermediaries – and a first choice business partner to the growing army of specialist mortgage funding organisations and lenders.

Yorke says: “There is an opportunity to turn NGM into a premier league player in the mortgage distribution world. Having represented the company for the past 16 months I am convinced we have a chance to make a real impression on the intermediary community.”

Yorke&#39s remit includes: positioning networkone as the network of choice for volume-based intermediaries seeking AR status; launching NGM&#39s secured loan and commercial finance propositions to the intermediary community; and launching an intermediary e-trading platform that gives access to exclusive residential mortgage, secured loan and commercial finance products.

Terry Markham, NGM director, said: “We&#39re delighted that Tony is joining us. We are expanding rapidly so having a strong marketing and business development presence is going to be critical for us in the months ahead.”
