The FOS says it does take interest in buy-to-let deals

Perhaps Neal Smith could clarify the comments in his article &#39Don&#39t take chances with buy-to-let&#39 wherein he states that the FOS does not have any jurisdiction over buy-to-let transactions.

Having attended an FOS seminar recently it was stressed that the FOS can and does deal with buy-to-let. In fact it was asking firms to opt for voluntary jurisdiction on this basis.
