West Brom provides online DIPs via Trigold

West Brom for Intermediaries is now providing brokers with access to Decision in Principles via Trigolds E-Trading Centre.

Mortgage intermediaries can use Trigold to source any West Brom for Intermediaries mortgage product, which include prime, sub-prime and buy-to-let mortgages, and complete an intelligent DIP form via the Trigold E-Trading Centre.

Data is then transferred to the West Brom for Intermediaries website where intermediaries are given an immediate decision online.

If the decision is positive, brokers are then able to continue with the application process online.

West Brom says the integrated facility will be particularly helpful to mortgage brokers whose compliance regime is based on the Trigold system.

A similar facility is being developed with Mortgage Brain, which will enable brokers to submit DIP applications via the Mortgage Trading Exchange, and it is anticipated this facility will go live later in the year.

Mark Lowndes, e-commerce and planning manager at West Brom, says: “Electronic trading is at the heart of the West Brom for Intermediaries service.

“We want to make it as easy as possible for brokers to do business with us and both Mortgage Brain and Trigold are key partners in helping us achieve this objective.

We believe in offering brokers a choice so they get the same easy to use application process and quick decision, whether they come direct to our website or via Mortgage Brain and Trigold.”
