Learn more about bridging finance

Specialist lender Tiuta is to host a bridging finance training seminar for brokers on April 9.

It will explore the use of bridging loans as a funding option, the loan application process and issues surrounding compliance.

Gary Booth, director at Tiuta, says: “Bridging loans are often used as a last resort so not enough time is spent comparing products and assessing their suitability for borrowers.

“This mistake can be costly for clients and could have implications with regard to the Treating Customers Fairly initiative.”

Marcus Howship, head of specialist lending at Mortgage Centre IFA, says: “Brokers interested in bridging should attend but they must not limit themselves to a single lender.”

The seminar is free to attend and will take place in London.
