Godiva joins The Exchange

Godiva Mortgages has become the 16th provider to join The Exchange online equity release service on the Exweb portal.

The broker arm of Coventry launched into the equity release market in February this year.

Its drawdown and lump sum product ranges were the first to provide early repayment charge free options.

David Child, managing director of The Exchange, says: “There is an increasing focus on offering lifetime mortgages and competitive equity release products at the moment, with usage of the Exweb service continuing to rise.”

Colin Franklin, managing director of Godiva, adds: “As The Exchange is the industry’s primary e-commerce service provider for equity release, it is essential that we allow advisers to gain access to our products through this important distribution channel.”

The Exchange now offers quotations for over 40 products from 16 providers.
