The service has been developed in response to research carried out by protection specialists British Insurance Brokers, who questioned their existing mortgage payment protection clients who did not have any form of life cover.
The research, which has been carried out over the last twelve months showed that the top reason why people don't have life cover is because they don't wish to see a pushy salesman and undergo length form-filling because, they say, they haven't got the time, or most importantly the inclination to discuss their lifestyle or their medical history with someone they don't know.
