Mortgage Promotions adds Advantage to lender panel

Advantage, a Morgan Stanley Group company, has been added to the Mortgage Promotions lending panel.

Intermediaries using the panel can now access the Advantage product ranges including ADV sub-prime range, the flexishare Home Ownership Plan, and the Advantage HomeBuy Home Ownership Plan.

Further products will be added to the Advantage product range, and enhancements made to the current products, in the coming months.

Keith Dearling, managing director of Advantage, says: “I am delighted that intermediaries using the Mortgage Promotions lending panel now have access to our lending range.

“Advantage is committed to enhancing the current product range and adding new, innovative products, which will be flexible and designed to fit the needs of intermediaries and their clients.”

It was great to see swaps creep down for a change last week. They edged back after about four weeks of steady increases. Longer term swaps decreased sharply.

Newcastle has launched two mortgage products. The three-year stepped discount deal offers an annual sequential discount from 3% to 1% on SVR until January 31 2010. The two-year fixed deal with extended tie-in has a rate of 1.80%.
