CAG closes down

CAG Private Finance, the IFA arm of Countrywide Assured Group, has been closed down, writes Helen McCormick.

CAG was formed three years ago and was based in London. Former managing director Roger Curtis and operations director Sharon Onciu have joined Tunbridge Wells-based IFA Columbus.

Curtis says: “This is good news all round. We were a minute part of Countrywide. It had no experience of IFA business and does not want to go down that route again. Both parties felt the time had come to move on, and I wanted to do something different.”
