Platform expands business development team

Platform has appointed five new business development managers.

Platform, the one-stop intermediary lender of Britannia, is pleased to announce a raft of recruits, five new business development managers, in order to meet demand for Platform’s recently enhanced one product range.

Clare Jarvis has been promoted internally having spent 18 months at Platform as a mobile underwriter. In her new position she will be responsible for developing business relations in West Midlands.

Paula Williams joins Platform from Paymentshield, where she started as operations manager and finished as head of mortgages and life services, where her role involved developing new business ventures and meeting key business partners.

At Platform, Paula will be responsible for developing
new business in North West.

Louise Hulme previously worked in in-house sales for Verso as well as spending a successful period in field sales for Audi. In her role at Platform she will be covering the East Midlands region.

Sophia Kaskiewicz joins Platform from Bank of Scotland / Halifax where she was a business banking manager and was responsible for acquiring good
quality SME deposit customers. At Platform, she will be responsible for the North East region.

Darren Mitchell is a proven sales professional having fulfilled sales roles at Future Mortgages and GMAC RFC, where he was responsible for developing new and existing contacts in the packaged and unpackaged
sectors. In his role at Platform, he will be responsible for the South East region.

Jeremy Duncombe, head of sales, says: “We are delighted to welcome all of our new recruits to the team and we congratulate Clare on her well earned promotion. We have enjoyed an extremely busy 2004 so far, particularly with our recently launched new
fixed rate range, and a smooth, successful transition into regulation.

“In 2005, we expect to see more developments at Platform taking place to further cement our regulated offering, including the launch of additional, cutting edge online services aimed specifically at our intermediary
clients, and further enhancement to our one product range.

“We are committed to building an even stronger Platform offering for the coming year and, with our new recruits, we believe that we have the most
professional of teams with which to deliver it.”
