OFM appoints new director

The OFM Group has promoted Scott Laughlin to board director from January 1, 2005.

Laughlin has been at the centre of the Southend firms’ growth over the last six years, starting OFM’s flagship mortgage update centre in 1999.

Since then, Laughlin and his team has processed almost 10,000 mortgage applications making the group one of the largest independent mortgage brokers in the UK. In this time, OFM has increase staff from just two to almost 40.

Laughlin says, “I feel delighted that I have been rewarded for years of hard work and effort. I am looking forward to driving the business forward to the next level.”

Rob Jupp, managing director at OFM, says: “Scott is a truly exceptional individual who thoroughly deserves his seat on the board. I look forward to working with him for many years to come.”
