Sesame hosts mortgage events for advisers

Business development and diversifying into new product areas will be key themes for Sesame as it embarks on Mortgage Extra Live, its latest round of regional mortgage events.

Along with insight into the latest developments from lenders and protection providers, Sesame will be highlighting the benefits of its preferred mortgage technology solution, The Key, as well as presenting ideas for marketing and customer generation.
The events will include business development presentations from industry experts, including the Marketing Innovation Forum, technology and general insurance clinics and roundtable presentations from mortgage lenders.

Helen O’Donovan, head of mortgage products and communications at Sesame, says: “2009 is proving to be a very challenging year for the advice profession and our latest round of events will provide advisers with a valuable insight into the latest developments in the mortgage market and will also focus on emerging business opportunities.
“We’ve refreshed the structure of this year’s events to expand the focus beyond mortgages. In addition to sessions on marketing and business development, each event will feature an exhibition area that will showcase ideas for alternative revenue streams. The additional sessions we’re running to support the rollout of our free point of sale system, The Key, along with the help we are giving advisers to embed GI within their business, are proving particularly popular.”
