Mortgage Times looks to recruit sales staff

Mortgage Times is embarking on a major recruitment drive which will see its sales team boosted with the addition of 20 business development consultants.

Recruitment days will be held in locations including London, Birmingham and Reading in a bid to expand the Mortgage Times sales team across the UK.

Senior management will give presentations on the role as well as the company’s growth plans.

The latest recruitment plans are in addition to the 10 BDMs hired over the last month.

The move follows the launch of Mortgage Times’ mortgage club which gives brokers access to the Legal & General Mortgage Club and payment on exchange.

Vision Network is also looking to expand its services to appointed representatives following the Mortgage Times tie-ups with L&G, Towergate and Paymentshield through its general insurance proposition.

Christopher May, director at Mortgage Times, says: “We are looking for proven individuals with a track record in sales and business development to join our successful team to ensure we can effectively sell our propositions in the marketplace.

“We are already one of the largest distributors in the UK and we believe that we can expand our mortgage club and network offering with the help of further expanding our business development team.”
