AFB to hold third annual dinner

The Association of Finance Brokers will be holding its third annual dinner at Drapers Hall in the City of London on Wednesday 1 July 2009.

This year’s event is sponsored by pancredit, suppliers of loan sourcing and loan administration solutions.

The keynote speaker will be Jon Pain, managing director of retail markets at the Financial Services Authority.

Responding on behalf of the AFB will be its independent chairman the Rt Hon. John Gummer MP.

Robert Sinclair, director of AFB, says: “It is a challenging time for all those in the secured loans industry. I am therefore extremely pleased that once again we can bring the industry together to discuss the future. It will be particularly interesting to hear the views of Jon Pain about how the industry can move forward in the coming months.”

Peter Constance, managing director of pancredit, says: “We are really pleased to support this event at a time when the lending industry is at a cross-road. At times like this it is more important than ever that the industry works together to ensure its future success.”
