Mortgage Summit off to flying start

Mortgage Strategys Mortgage Summit kicked off to a flying start this morning.

The Mortgage Summit, which is taking place in Jerez, Spain, over the next two days, started prompt at 11:30 this morning.

This afternoon some 75 of the industrys top performing brokers and packagers are to hear directly on the state of the economy from economist John Wriglesworth followed by a technology panel debate hosted by guru Frank Eve.

Michael Bolton, managing director of HBOS Specialist Lending, is then due to give his own take on whats happening in the sub-prime market.

Then, for the first time ever, Juan Rodriguez Inciarte, chief executive of Santander Group parent of Abbey will address delegates on winning consumer confidence and how the industry can cultivate a stronger reputation.

Patrick Ponsford, publisher of Mortgage Strategy, says: The Mortgage Summit is the place to be for the next 48 hours.
