C2 hosts regional secured loan workshops

c2 secured, the secured lending arm of national mortgage distributor and branded lender c2 financial, has announced further dates for its series of regional secured loan workshops to be held at venues across the UK.

In addition to the dates recently announced for the Carlton Hotel in Bournemouth on September 15 and Jury’s Hotel Heathrow on October 13, the company has now added the Lakeside Moat House Hotel near Dartford on October 21 and The Conference Centre at Brighton Racecourse on the November 2.

Each of the two-hour events will consist of a small number of presentations from lenders followed by a product and sales presentation from c2 secured sales and underwriting teams.

A further opportunity to discuss the market directly with the lenders will be available over the lunch that will be provided.

Roger Taylor, operations manager at c2 secured, says: “We set out to show intermediaries how to break through into the second charge market and the attendance and response to the first two roadshows earlier this year was overwhelming.

“There is clearly a great deal of interest for these products and marketing assistance within the intermediary market and we intend doing everything possible to help educate and inform those professional intermediaries who attend our roadshows.”

David Wylie, managing director c2 financial, says: “Given the extremely encouraging levels of intermediary business coming through c2 secured now, it is my firm belief that intermediaries are recognising the quality of the service we are providing,.

“This vindicates our decision to acquire an established secured loan operation with experienced staff and management, rather than attempting to morph the services of c2 financial from mortgages into secured loans, as many of our competitors have done.”
