And finally, Mortgage Strategy is giving cricket fans the chance to win some magnificent memorabilia thanks to PR guru John Wriglesworth.

At this year’s Intermediary Mortgage Lenders Association dinner Wriglesworth bid for what he thought was a signed photo of comedian Johnny Vaughan. He decided a sizeable donation for charity would be worth it as the PR whizz is a big fan of the comedian. Imagine his disappointment when he discovered that the photo was in fact of Michael Vaughan, and signed by the former England captain himself.

Wriglesworth is teaming up with Mortgage Strategy to launch a charity auction for the picture. The lucky reader making the highest bid will take home the photo while the money paid will go to the Poppy Appeal. Bidding closes on Monday November 2.
