GE wins SMS’s best lender

GE Money Home Lending was voted best overall lender by Solent Mortgage Services at its awards dinner.

Over 300 specially invited guests, including key introducers and product providers were in attendance at SMS’s 7th annual premier gala awards dinner.

It was hosted by Paul Robinson, chief executive officer, Kelvin Cooper, managing director, and Ian Balfour, sales and marketing director.

Other award winners included MGM as best network, Beals Financial as best introducer and Grove and Dean as best satellite packager.

Cooper says: “It was a great evening for meeting old and new friends of SMS and also to demonstrate our appreciation for the support we have received from introducers, lenders and other service providers.

“We were also joined by many of our key staff who have helped SMS exceed its targets for the year but everyone at SMS can feel proud of the contribution they have made to our success.”

Colin Shave, chief executive officer of GE Money Home Lending, says: “The packager industry plays a crucial part in the success of our business and over the years GE Money Home Lending has developed key relationships with packagers.

“This award acknowledges that progress and it particularly recognises the strong bond we have forged with SMS. We look forward to continued success.”
