TMB sees huge rise in completions

The Mortgage Business says it recorded a whopping 700m mortgage completions in Q1 2006, a 161% increase compared to Q1 2005.

Applications, also, topped 1bn, a 149% increase in comparison to Q1 2005. The HBOS specialist lender has also announced new lending criteria including the acceptance of Scottish Isle properties, the inclusion of auction properties as accepted purchase, the removal of 150,000 capital raising limit, and increased limit on house-to-house mortgage loans from 250,000 to 500,000.
