NBI launches portal for HIPs

New Build Inspections has launched a portal for Home Information Packs called Home Inspection Home.

From June 2007 anybody selling a house will need to produce a HIP or risk being fined £200.

These sellers packs will ensure that all homes are professionally inspected, reduce the number of failed transactions which are costing buyers a million pounds per day, and reduce the cost of entry into home ownership for first-time buyers.

Catriona Bright, managing director of NBI, says: “We have invested a lot setting up this site, but for a portal to be successful we need members and forum contributors.

“To encourage this we are offering £10 per week to the best forum contribution and the opportunity for HIP providers to join our panel of experts.

“Additionally, for a limited time listings can be added to our home inspection directory and job board free of charge.”
