N4 wins award for contribution to charity

N4 Solutions has been awarded the Gold Award by the home secretary in recognition of its contribution to charity.

The supplier of compliant point of sale technology to the UK financial services industry clients include Intrinsic, the financial services network led by Lord Leitch, Woolwich, Barclays and Nationwide.

N4 was given the award for fostering a culture of philanthropy and committed giving in the workplace.

The Gold Award is a symbol of excellence and is awarded to employers that have succeeded in generating sustainable income sources for UK charities through Payroll Giving.

Steve Jones, chief executive of N4, says: A sense of community is central to the ethos of N4.

We believe that charitable giving and activities can be combined with business success and add a greater sense of purpose to an organisation.

In addition to Payroll Giving and supporting staffs fundraising inititiatives – including a walk along the Inca Trail in Peru N4 has developed close ties with the community.

Jones spends time each month working for charities including a local college.

N4 also offers work experience at their offices for the students, many of whom have complex physical disabilities.
