GMAC launches online marketing toolbox

GMAC-RFC has launched an online marketing toolbox to provide marketing support for mortgage intermediaries.

The marketing toolbox has been created in response to research conducted by GMAC-RFC, which revealed that intermediaries required tips and guidance on PR and marketing activities.

Over 200 mortgage intermediaries and IFAs were interviewed and their feedback revealed that well designed product literature, advice on advertising or public relations and information regarding regulation would be the most useful marketing tools for them.

GMAC-RFC&#39s online marketing toolbox can be found on its website at It includes sections on database management, advertising hints and tips, PR hints and tips, regulation guides, industry news, event calendar as well as a mortgage repayment calculator

Although all this information is available now GMAC-RFC hopes the marketing toolbox will continually evolve to provide new information and guidance for intermediaries.

Jeff Knight, head of marketing at GMAC-RFC, says: “GMAC wants to support intermediaries and help them expand their business wherever it can. The marketing toolbox is just one way in which it can deliver this.

“It will be continually reviewed and updated in relation to the feedback received so that it should always fit with intermediaries marketing needs.”
