NatWest launches NatWest One microsite

NatWest has launched a new &#39microsite&#39,, which promotes NatWest One, its current account mortgage.

Created by Zentropy partners in conjunction with NatWest, the site gives users access to calculators, which illustrate the savings that might be made by switching your mortgage to NatWest One, product details and information on how to apply for the mortgage.

NatWest has also launched a series of overlays and banners which will appear on sites such as Times Online and Guardian Unlimited. For the first time, NatWest also roadblocked the Times Online site with &#39Do it in one&#39 advertising for a 24 hour period.

Charles Haresnape, head of NatWest mortgage services, says: “The launch of the NatWest One microsite and the online campaign activity that we have developed, allow us to raise and increase awareness of the NatWest One product and our profile as a mortgage provider to a wide audience.

“This campaign will also allow us to experiment further with different online advertising formats. Once again this campaign has included a number of firsts for NatWest, such as the roadblock of the Times Online website and promotion to PDA&#39s.”

Alastair Duncan, managing director of interactive communications company Zentropy Partners (UK), says: “The internet has now firmly established itself as a primary research tool for the financially savvy audience. Therefore, it is important that NatWest&#39s online presence acts as a lynch pin for its traditional marketing drives. We believe that the microsite, together with the various integrated online marketing assets, specially created by Zentropy Partners, clearly demonstrates the benefits of this highly flexible financial product to NatWest&#39s target audience.”
