Swift appoints finance director

Swift Group has appointed Amanda Brooks as finance director.

Brooks joins Swift following a career at Inchcape, the automotive distribution and retail group, where she was group financial controller. While at Inchape, Brooks held a number of senior positions including non-executive director for Inchcape Motors, the importer of Toyota, Lexus and Suzuki vehicles in Singapore and Brunei.

This is the third big name appointment at Swift in the past three months following the recent announcements of Nigel Ingram as chief operations officer and Ian Glover as marketing manager.

John Webster, chief executive of Swift Group says: “Amanda is a finance director with a record of exceptional achievement in strategy formulation and world class business performance management, developed within an international organisation. Her financial experience covers a broad range of disciplines all of which have been delivered with excellent results.”

“Swift Group has experienced tremendous growth and has ambitious plans to grow still further. To do this it is essential to have strength in depth across the organisation and no more so than within the senior management team. I’m looking forward to having the support of a professional of Amanda’s calibre as the business expands.”
