Beacon appoints compliance manager

Beacon Group has appointed of Bruce Collins as group compliance manager.

Collins most recently worked as head of compliance at MDNationwide and Bananas Inc. Prior to this, he developed the BDS Mortgage Group Network, having held previous regulatory positions with both the Financial Services Authority and Mortgage Code Compliance Board.

In his new role, Collins will be responsible for integrating the compliance framework within the companies, and heading up the team in delivering the compliance services in all areas of the Beacon Group.

Jeremy Russ, head of marketing and compliance at Beacon, says: I am really pleased that Bruce has joined the team in this new role. He has an excellent compliance background and is as committed as we all are to moving the business forward.

Collins says: I am looking forward to taking on the responsibilities involved in this role at the Beacon Group. I believe the experience I have acquired through my roles at MDNationwide and Bananas Inc will help me to be of benefit to the group as it continues to develop.
