Quest to offer HIP advice at Expo

Quest Associates is inviting visitors to Mortgage Business Expo to unlock their Home Information Pack potential throughout the two day event.

Visitors will have the opportunity of winning an Acer TravelMate Tablet PC, simply by collecting a key from the Quest stand and presenting it at the Technology Zone, which Quest is sponsoring.

As sponsors of the Technology Zone, Quest will be presenting at 10.15 and 14.00 each day on how to make the most from the HIP.

The practical, hands on presentations will demonstrate how technology will enable property professionals to capitalise on the Home Information Pack initiative.

For a chance to win the prize, visitors need to present their unique Quest key at the seminar to see whether it unlocks the prize box. Refreshments will be available at each daily session.

Tom Parker, managing director of Quest Associates says: During the show, we will be demonstrating how easy it is to access, develop, collate and share the critical elements of both the HIP, and the Home Condition Report.

“We are in an ideal position to help firms manage this process, and are happy to offer advice to those seeking assistance or input into their pack strategy.

Parker adds: We will also be providing guests with an update on the latest mobile technologies, which enable individuals who work remotely to access the corporate documents and applications.

“This will be vital when the HIP is introduced, to ensure the contents can be accessed at any time, from any location.

The Acer TravelMate Tablet PC will be on show at the Quest Stand, and at the Technology Zone. Quest will also be raising money for the BBC Children in Need charity, as well as providing entertainment on its stand in the form of a caricaturist who will offer visitors a unique self portrait to take away.

A thin argument for higher proc fees is better than none

From Richard Griffiths Jeff Sutherland-Kay is quite correct in saying my argument for higher proc fees is woefully thin (Mortgage Strategy Letters October 10) but you have to start somewhere.
