Friends Provident tops Defaqto survey

Friends Provident, the FTSE 100 life and pensions company, has come out top for service in a survey of 400 IFAs conducted by financial services research specialists Defaqto.

Defaqto asked intermediaries to rate their experience of providers over the last six months in nine categories, image and reputation, administration of new business, existing business and claims and surrenders, commission administration, product and technical services, provider broker consultant, investment services and online services.

Friends Provident was one of two companies to perform well in almost all categories and was voted best provider for service.
