eConveyancer to be made available to Mortgage Promotions brokers

eConveyancer, the online system for instructing conveyancers which is owned by the United Group, is to be made available to Mortgage Promotions brokers throughout the country.

eConveyancer provides intermediaries with a fast and easy way to select and instruct a conveyancer on behalf of their client and then monitor the conveyancers progress thereafter. The system, which is accessible via the internet, gives intermediaries access to a panel of solicitors comprising more than 140 firms and 500 conveyancing specialists based throughout the UK. Brokers can add local solicitors with whom they may already have a close working relationship to the panel and they are also provided with full training and ongoing support.

Alan Dring, sales director at eConveyancer, says: Were delighted to have been appointed by a leading mortgage distributor such as Mortgage Promotions. eConveyancer will enable Mortgage Promotions brokers to generate additional income without needing to invest in new technology, staff or training. It will also save them time and ensure they are able to provide an enhanced quality of service to their clients. In todays tougher mortgage market, eConveyancer is an easy way to make more money and stay one step ahead of the competition.

Nick Baxter, managing director at Mortgage Promotions, says: I have been very impressed with the eConveyancer system and the companys real desire to build a productive working relationship with Mortgage Promotions and our brokers.

Our decision to add eConveyancer to our panel is all about providing our brokers with choice. We already work with LMS which is tailored to instructing solicitors on a local basis, and Goldsmith Williams which provides a centralised approach to the task. eConveyancer offers the benefits of speed and efficiency via the internet, along with highly competitive pricing. I have no doubt it will prove to be extremely popular with Mortgage Promotions members.

The United Group, which owns eConveyancer, has recently announced its intention to become a major player in the emerging Home Information Pack market. It is one of the few companies which has proven technology capable of handling the information flows necessary to provide a HIPS service.
