Home of Choice upgrades Ignition service

Mortgage network Home of Choice has chosen focus:360º from Focus Solutions, supplier of whole office solutions to the financial services market, to upgrade its existing mortgage point of sale solution – Ignition.

Ignition, previously built by Focus, enables the recruitment, registration and support of new intermediaries joining the network as well as the full application process.

Home of Choice undertook a comprehensive market review of available technology, its brief being to find the most compelling and attractive technology proposition to intermediaries, enabling the network to increase market share.

focus:360° will enhance Home of Choice’s existing system – Ignition, an innovative electronic platform that was designed and built by Focus to encompass the new regulated mortgage marketplace. An end-to-end solution with features including: online registration, online/offline sales process (eliminating time-consuming re-keying of data) – as well as online MI and commission information. This allows a simple, seamless sales process, with the efficient processing of new business and prompt payment of fees/commissions.

John Ahmed, marketing and communications director at Home of Choice, says: “We have worked with Focus for a long time and have found them a most reliable and valuable business partner. Following a comprehensive review of the relevant solutions available in the market place, we found focus:360° to be the most functionally advanced and adaptable solution that could meet all of our requirements and timescales. We are delighted to be continuing our relationship with Focus and look forward to rolling out the solution.”

Richard Stevenson, chief executive of Focus Solutions, adds: “I am delighted that Home of Choice has once again chosen Focus to provide their new strategic distribution platform. Home of Choice has an intelligent technology offering that has enabled them to become the UK’s fastest growing multi-tied specialist mortgage network. We believe the improved functionality of focus:360º will enable them to achieve their future targets for growth. We have seen significant interest in the new product from various sectors in the market and we look forward to future successes.”
