Flat-pack opportunity

First-time buyers in Gateshead will have access to affordable housing thanks to BoKlok flat-pack homes.

Residents will move into the UK’s first BoKlok development in May, having met the criteria of earning between £15,000 and £35,000 per year and never having owned a home.

The initiative, already successful in Scandinavia, offers a range of home ownership options including part-purchase deals.

Prices range from £99,500 for a one-bedroom flat to £149,950 for a three-bedroom townhouse.
