James Taylor has been promoted to corporate account manager at West Brom for Intermediaries, the specialist intermediary lending arm of the West Browich.
Taylor who was previously mortgage product manager, joined the West Brom in 2002 as retail analyst and then a retail development manager working with the society’s branch network.
He became mortgage product manager in 2005, responsible for the profitability of the group’s existing and new mortgage lending and was voted ‘Employee of the Year’ in the 2006 West Brom staff awards.
Taylor new role gives him responsibility for the society’s major corporate relationships in London and the South East, which includes working with organisations such as John Charcol, Mortgage Times, Savills Private Finance.

“Taylor has the right experience to take on this important role and I have no doubt he will be able to make a big impact very quickly.”
Taylor has degrees in business economics and competition economics from Aston Business School and City University respectively. He enjoys running and walking in his spare time.
