LMS to recruit new head of survey and valuations

LMS is looking to recruit a new managing director for its survey and valuations business.

The post has become available as the present managing director, John Archbold, moves on to head up a property development company.

His new venture is a major change in career and he will be responsible for the UK operations of an international property group based in Ireland.

Andy Knee, managing director of LMS, says: “We are, of course, very sad to be losing John, but wish him every success with his new endeavour.

“John has played a crucial role in the set up and growth of LMS survey and valuations, a business now on course to carrying out over 100,000 transactions a year, and in the development of our leading edge HIP service.

“We are now actively recruiting a worthy successor who will take on the responsibility for continuing the expansion of our survey and valuations company alongside our growing remortgage, conveyancing and HIP operations.”
