LMS reports success of packager service

The new remortgaging service developed specifically for packagers by LMS is proving to be a success, with more than 13 packagers already signed up.

Packagers who have signed up to use the LMS system include AToM, Clear Mortgage Administration, Just Mortgage Packaging, KGB Packaging, Mortgage 1, Mortgage 2000, Mortgage Bureau (UK), Mortgage Next, Niche Mortgage Solutions, Oxygen Mortgages, Personal Touch Packaging, Praxis Mortgage Solutions and Trafalgar Square Solutions.

The system is fully automated wherever possible to take seconds, rather than hours or even days. It collates data at the front end to speed processing, produces both customer and law firm packs and enables queries to be highlighted and dealt with over the telephone.

Dominic Toller, director of marketing and new business at LMS, says: “We knew the market was ready for a faster, cheaper and more efficient way of remortgaging, however we have been stunned by the phenomenal response we are receiving from packagers.

“The LMS system turns the remortgages process on its head and creates a far superior method by reshaping how resources are used – as well as by maximising our technology, our experience in delivering high volume transactions and our robust and proven systems – to deliver faster and more flexible transactions.”
