Bridgebank boss is wrong on scarcity of bridging finance

I was interested to read comments by Laurence Goodman, managing director of Bridgebank Capital, at the Mortgage Business Expo in Manchester recently.

He claimed the demand for bridging is continuing to outstrip supply. I don’t think that is the case. There are plenty of funders out there. It is more down to the individual lender and its own funding lines.

For some bridging lenders, the sky appears to be the limit. I think his statement is inaccurate. There remains a small number of bridgers that can always deliver.
