TBMC reinforces status with TMW

The Business Mortgage Company has cemented its position as one of The Mortgage Works top buy-to-let introducers and will have its cases processed by the lender’s prestige desk.

The desk offers a dedicated underwriting team that is focussed on furthering relationships with the lender’s leading introducers.

Andy Young, chief executive officer of TBMC, says he is pleased the firm has been recognised as one of TMW’s top introducers and appreciates being able to work with a dedicated team.

He says: “Working with an established team has allowed us to form excellent working relationships which can be helpful when processing a large number of applications or dealing with difficult cases.”

Paul Howard, head of major accounts at TMW, says: “TBMC has consistently provided high quality buy-to-let business and the two firms have a good relationship.”


Society savings hit record high, but lending still down

Net receipts into societies were £1,595m in February 2009, the highest February net receipt on record and an increase of 18% over February 2008, but gross mortgage lending was down to £1,214m, compared to £3,861m in February 2008.
