Select & Protect announces partnership with Professional Mortgage Network

Professional Mortgage Network&#39s ARs and directly authorised brokers will have access to the full range of Select & Protect&#39s general insurance offering.

Simon Hood, Select & Protect chief executive, says: “Our reach into the mortgage adviser market continues to widen and the appointment of Select & Protect to Professional Mortgage Network&#39s GI panel is another milestone in our development as we move closer to regulation. Whilst this is a new relationship for both of us, Dale Knight, managing director of PMN, has been an appointed agent of Select & Protect and we are sure his overall experience with us in the past is the reason why our appointment to the GI panel is his aim in making his proposition a strong one.

“We are delighted to be appointed by PMN and look forward to demonstrating our first class products and administrative services to their advisers and clients.”

Hood adds: “Ultimately the strength of Select & Protects underwriters Norwich Union and St Andrew&#39s show we have a sustainable, confident business model and that our partnership will be both long and rewarding.”

Knight says: “We have chosen our panel providers very carefully and the attitude of Select & Protect towards customer retention and their emphasis on customer service meant their appointment to our panel was a formality. They are a general insurance provider intent on acting in a competitive and professional manner, which sits well with our overall proposition.”

Select & Protect products are underwritten by Norwich Union and St Andrew&#39s Insurance.
