Uinsure poaches Berkeley Alexander director Mark Hutchings

General insurance provider Uinsure has appointed former Berkeley Alexander marketing director Mark Hutchings to the role of national account manager.

Hutchings’ new role will be responsible for business development as well as growing existing business from UK networks, mortgage clubs and IFAs. He will report to sales director Jason Berry.

The appointment follows Uinsure’s recent recruitment of five former Paymentshield employees, including former regional sales manager Chlow Bowden-Davies who is now serving as business development manager for the Midlands.

Hutching says of his appointment: “Over the last couple of years the company has become the leading player in GI and to be able to play a part in developing further that growth is extremely exciting.”

Uinsure chief executive Simon Taylor says: “2014 has been a fantastic year for us and our reputation is helping us to attract the best of the best. It is hugely rewarding to see some of the top people in our industry eager to come on board at Uinsure and I’m delighted to welcome our latest recruits into the fold.”
