Date closing in for WFG award nominations

There are only seven days left to nominate in the search to find the UKs top women advisers for the Women Financial Adviser Group awards.

There are five categories in the awards organised by the non-profit organization, including, best woman IFA (including WOM); best multitied, tied and mortgage advisers and best female paraplanner.

There are bound to be suitable candidates in your company and the WFG is asking that nominations and entries are made straight away. It is looking for advisers across all denominations who demonstrate technical and professional excellence and show that they are at the leading edge of their field. They should be holistic in their client work and good producers. They also need to show a balance between their business and personal life.

The awards, which are sponsored by AXA, Thinc Destini, Scottish Equitable, BM Solutions and Capita SIP Services, offer a number of prizes including, a luxury holiday for 2 at a Mediterranean health spa, a day at the Sanctuary in London and a made-to-measure, designer suit.

Saran Allot-Davey, winner in, 2003 says: Entering the award and going through the judging process was a real learning experience and worthwhile in itself. Winning was just fabulous and has transformed my working life.

Nominations close on October 10 and entries close on October 17. The winners will be announced at a gala dinner in Cabot Hall, Canary Wharf, on January 27 2006. Tickets and tables are available through the website.

If you wish to make a nomination you should email, with the nominees name, company, contact number, email, category and reason for nomination. The reason should be no longer than 250 words.
