Nottingham’s marketing and communications manager Clare Baker got more excitement than she’d bargained for after travelling home to Lincolnshire last Tuesday night.

An hour after she turned off her bedroom light, Baker found her Grantham home was at the epicentre of the UK’s biggest earthquake since 1984.

“I was awoken by a loud rumbling noise and thought the council had start-ed construction work,” the shaken but not stirred Baker told Mole.

Baker is getting married in a few months and hopes to feel the earth move on numerous occasions during and after her honeymoon, Mole is told. Crumbs.
