Mortgages for Business has appointed specialist brokerage Commercial 1 its exclusive broker for secured loans and bridging finance.

The move sees MfB’s growing their proposition to work with introducers.

Nick Blunt, head of business partner development at MfB, says “Commercial 1’s expertise in secured loans and bridging finance brings a whole new offering to MfB customers.

“We are pleased that we are able to refer clients to them, and really add value by extending our offering. MfB have ambitious plans for 2008 and our partnership with Commercial 1 sits well as part of that.”

Peter Turner, head of sales at Commercial 1, adds: “We have known and worked with MfB for many years now – we are very pleased to cement this relationship with a formal alliance and be working with a very professional team to drive both of our businesses forwards.”
