SLS launches introducer portal

Southampton based master broker Secured Loan Services has launched an introducer portal and underwriting system for its brokers.

The technology is provided by Promise Solutions and is a bespoke version of its Promise Quote offering, providing amongst other things, a broker management system, introducer portal, broker underwriting system, document printing and instant links to lender scoring.

SLS’s brokers will be able to source secured loans unsecured loans and debt solutions whilst retaining control over the sales process, the fees charged and the commission they will earn.

Andy Creighton, operations director at Secured Loan Services, says: “We have invested heavily in technology this year and installing the right front end system was vital to the overall success. Following our trial phase with Promise Quote, our underwriters have been hugely impressed with the capability of the system, and the support we receive. This will allow us to save significant time and provide an enhanced service to our Brokers.

“We have already seen a significant increase in secured loan business since going live but let’s not forget that this is a people business. Our Brokers deal with us because of the quality of our people and getting secured loans placed, processed and completed is ultimately down to them. But I have to say the new system definitely helps.”

Steve Walker, managing drector of Promise Solutions, says: “SLS is the second master broker to move to Promise Quote from an alternative provider. This gives us great encouragement that we have got it right and provides reassurance to the other companies which are currently trialling or considering incorporating Promise Quote in their business.

“As well as getting considerable interest from established brokers, we are seeing an increased number of new entrants to the secured loan master broker arena. With their existing distribution, our technology can help their businesses explode into secured loan master broking with minimal previous experience.”
