E2M promises EPCs within 24 hours

Easier2Move is promising to turn around Energy Performance Certificates in 24 hours ahead of the compulsory EPC deadline on October 1.

Under this deadline landlords or letting agents must have an EPC in place before marketing a property for rent.

E2M says it can deliver an EPC within 24 hours, which allows brokers to help their buy-to-let clients continue to market their property in the quickly.

The online conveyancer is offering EPCs for £55 + VAT.

Robin Marcus, director at E2M, says: “As it is now a legislative requirement for landlords to have these certificates, it is important for them to benefit from an affordable EPC that can be turned around in the quickest time frame possible.

“We are delighted to be able to react to these market requirements as we understand that it is important for landlords to keep their costs to an absolute minimum. With demand for rented properties increasing, affordability is not the only factor – a quick turnaround is vital to ensure that landlords and letting agents are not missing out on potential tenants.”

More from Key Retirement Partnerships’ managing director Terry Pritchard, this time his reaction to news that Stuart Wilson of Equity Advice was offering brokers 100 more per case than KRS.
