Mortgage Angels has launched Angels Media to provide database marketing services and support to mortgage intermediaries and lenders.
Angels Media will provide intermediaries and lenders with access to its comprehensive consumer and intermediary database for cross marketing and new business development.
The consumer database includes some 360,000 contact details and the intermediary database some 30,000 brokers.
Angels Media will provide clients with a complete marketing support package from strategic advice to design and implementation.
Nat Daniels, managing director of Mortgage Angels, says: It occured to us that we are sitting on perhaps two of the most comprehensive and well cleansed mortgage sector databases currently available due to our lead aggregation activities via the Mortgage Angels and Estate Angels brands.
It makes sense for us to leverage that information and combine it with our online marketing expertise for the benefit of relevant third parties.
We will, however, be very selective about who we provide this information to and how it is used to ensure that we are fully compliant with the EU online marketing directive and best practice.
He adds: Given that, according to the Office of National Statistics, 55% of households in Great Britain could access the internet from home in May 2005 we can confidentially assume that access is significantly higher now.
Database and online marketing is proving a significant challenge to traditional advertising such as TV and radio as it is far more measurable and enables firms to build one-to-one relationships with their target audience, which is key to closing a sale.
