You can’t help being swept off your feet by Shirley Isherwood’s zest for life and that’s one of the things that makes her an outstanding BDM, says Open Door Solutions’ Steve Holt

Reasons for nomination:

You never forget meeting Shirley. Blessed with an ebullient nature and a zest for life you can’t help being swept off your feet. Personality aside, she has had a significant amount of experience as a BDM. A good BDM has to have tremendous stamina and tenacity to find new relationships and nurture them, plus the motivation to drive business forward.

Shirley certainly has plenty of grit and her outgoing personality, together with her enthusiasm, allows her to single out and develop relationships, This makes her an asset. Shirley is also an excellent communicator and always keeps her clients in the loop.

In the business she is at ease working either alone – often travelling long distances across the country to seek out new opportunities – or as part of a team. This flexibility is vital for the role. Shirley is capable and conscientious but what sets her apart is her firm belief in going the extra mile to get the job done.

His knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry is second to none and his approach to his work is something I admire.
