I read with interest Mike King's letter (Mortgage Strategy June 21) about lenders' poor service affecting brokers income and I totally agree with what he says.
We spend at least half of every day chasing lenders for progress on cases. By far the worst culprits at present are Mortgage Express, Platform, BM Solutions and Northern Rock.
How can any lender expect business in the future when they cannot process an increase in volume in the present? As a result of suffering this bad service we have teamed up with brokers across the country and will be offering an alternative awards ceremony in October.
The most category that lenders seem keenest to win judging by their recent performance is: ' Lender with the Most Hopeless Service in the Industry'. Voting is by email only to firstname.lastname@example.org. Let's hope they take note.
