Expo Manchester to feature FSA clinic

This year’s Mortgage Business Expo Manchester will feature an advice centre where delegates can meet a Financial Services Authority representative.

Any delegate with an FSA-related query, such as Treating Customers Fairly, can ask the representative during the event on May 14 and May 15.

Daniel Nwaokolo, show director for Mortgage Business Expo Manchester, says: “We are delighted to offer delegates the opportunity to meet and discuss their regulatory issues with the FSA.

“The current market climate may be testing for brokers and advisers but the need for quality compliance does not change.”

Jonathan Fischel, head of mortgages and credit unions department at the FSA, says: “We always look forward to meeting representatives of our regulated firms.

“This event is a great opportunity for us to discuss any regulation issues the firms have, for example, on the TCF initiative or senior management responsibilities.”

The event takes place at Manchester’s GMEX.
