Buy-to-let interest booming at Property Investor Show

There were over 260 exhibitors, including financial firms, agents, overseas specialists, interior designers and property developers. Charcol, Landlord Mortgages, City Lofts, Urban Splash, Knight Frank and the National Landlord&#39s Association were amongst many others providing

expert advice and information on all aspects of buy-to-let.  There were also 104 expert led seminars, which is the biggest programme of seminars for any UK exhibition.

Managing director, Nick Clark says: “This year&#39s show was the biggest we have seen. The huge number of visitors who passed through the doors reflects the continuing interest in the buy-to-let and investment markets, both from new investors and those expanding their existing portfolios.”

Lee Grandin of Landlord Mortgages, who exhibited at the show, says: “The Property Investor Show offered the ability to talk to property investors and establish their optimism. We took a record number of enquiries with over half from first time investors and now we can confidently

say the buy-to-let is still going strong.”

Robert Jenkin from Bulgarian Dreams says: “The show was an outstanding success for us. As well as there being a general interest in finding out more about Bulgaria at the show, the seminars we presented were well attended and people really enjoyed them. Over the three days we received in excess of 350 specific property enquiries which have resulted in 18 reservations already and I&#39m sure there are some more sales to come. The show was definitely the best yet.”

Visitors to the show were also impressed. Christian Angel attended on Friday, she says: “I was looking to invest in property but didn&#39t really have much knowledge about what was available so I went along to the show to find out about the different options. I found a lot of very professional and helpful people who gave me all the information I needed and now I am planning to invest in four months time, starting with Eastern Europe and Spain.”
