BM Solutions sweeps board at Pink service awards

The awards, held in association with Mortgage Strategy, were hosted by Scottish comedian Fred McCauley.

BM Solutions won overall lender of the year, best buy-to-let service provider and best e-commerce service provider. Personality of the year went to its director of mortgages, Michael Bolton.

The Mortgage Store was also celebrating after winning best service overall for individuals and best broker in the South.

Intelligent Finance took best flexible service provider, beating off competition from Abbey for Intermediaries, The One account and The Woolwich.

Silverside Financial Services was best broker North, company, with Jane Bottomley from Your Mortgage, picking up best broker North, individual.

Best sub-prime service provider went to Platform, which was up against Amber Homeloans, BM Solutions, GMAC-RFC and Kensington Mortgages.

Charcol won best broker for national coverage and Gary Taylor from Ashley Law IFA took best broker South, individual.

GMAC-RFC picked up best self-certification service provider, beating BM Solutions, Mortgage Express and UCB Home Loans.

Halifax won best prime service provider over Abbey for Intermediaries, Cheltenham & Gloucester, Nationwide and Northern Rock.

Bank of Ireland Mortgages won most innovative lender of the year and Sanjay Gupta from Next Stop Mortgages was declared best broker, London, individual.

Best broker London, company went to London Mortgages Direct, with the best lifetime service provider award being picked up by Northern Rock, which was up against Mortgage Express and Scottish Widows Bank.
