DB to unveil broker plans at Summit

DB Mortgages is planning to launch its direct to broker proposition at the Mortgage Strategy Summit next year.

The summit, to be held in Dubai from April 17 to 20, will play host to leading lenders and brokers for two days.

Bill Dudgeon, managing director of DB Mortgages, says: “We have worked hard to develop our distribution through packagers and have always made it clear that we would also be seeking to originate from brokers on a non-packaged basis in spring 2007.

“Outlining our offering to the market in Dubai at the Summit presents us with a great opportunity to cover a lot of ground quickly as most of the key decision-makers from the industry will be there.”

Dudgeon adds: “Our next major technology release will facilitate this as well as bringing additional functionality to support our packagers. We believe the system will be well received and will offer a product search facility, affordability calculator, online applications, Key Facts Illustrations and application tracking.”
