CMLS appoints new head of sales

Packager and founder Professional Mortgage Packagers Alliance member, Complete Mortgage and Loan Services Limited, has appointed Tristan Pile as head of sales.

Reporting to director Tony Salentino, Piles role includes responsibility for developing new business from both directly authorised advisers and appointed representatives.

He is also responsible for product design, marketing campaigns and developing the range of lenders and networks with whom CMLS has packager agreements.

With 14 years experience in the mortgage sector, Pile joins CMLS from working on a consultancy basis setting up a financial services operation for a national chain of letting and estate agents.

Prior to that, as a director of County Mortgages, now known as C2 financial, his main role was developing the B2B side of the business by building a team of BDMs and a mortgage help desk which became one of the most successful and well known in the industry.

Amongst other projects, Pile was involved in the formation of RAMP. Other experience includes three years as an area sales manager for Chelsea.

Mortgage approvals up 8.1% in August
